For various reasons my wife could not pick Maeve up from the creche today so I did the honours. I arrived around 17:50, Maeve saw me and rushed over demanding hugs – life does have its great moment. Anyway went further into the creche and the “wobblers” room where Maeve’s coat and bottles were stored. I put Maeve down, gathered her stuff and then “chassed” her out of the wobber room towards the exit with Maeve squeeling with delight. Along the main hall there are four child-proof gates to negotiate. You can imagine my surprise when my 14 month old went up and opened all four of them in sequence; pushing the button on top of the gate (and which she cannot see) and pulling open the gate.

Smart girl. Time at home to migrate to lock and key on the gates we have.
